Soccer superstar David Beckham wants the community to come out to Thursday's Miami City Commission meeting to show their support for his anticipated Major League Soccer Stadium in the Magic City.
Beckham and his business partner, Jose Mas, propose a 28,000-seat soccer stadium at the Melreese municipal golf course.
The privately financed stadium would sit alongside proposed office and retail space in an area called Freedom Park.
A rally is being held at noon at Miami City Hall before the commission meeting at 2 PM.
If the stadium passes, the plans will go to the voters this November.
