Police: No Leads In Case Of Missing Georgia Woman In Florida

There's still no sign of a missing Georgia woman whose SUV was found on Tuesday in Tallahassee. 

The vehicle belonging to 70-year-old Deanna Shirey was discovered near a storm water retention pond in the Frenchtown community. 

Police officials say her purse and some personal belongings were still in the vehicle. 

Family members say they last heard from Shirey on Sunday. According to authorities, Shirey has no known relatives in the Tallahassee area.

Authorities in North Florida and South Georgia are continuing to search for a missing Thomasville woman, but officials say there are no leads.

Shirey is 5’05” tall, and has brown hair and brown eyes. Shirey is retired but has a part-time position at a grocery store. She was scheduled to be at work Wednesday.
