Authorities said that an armed Florida man who took two people hostage on Thursday morning was shot and killed by local officials.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office sais they were called to assist local police early Thursday.
According to authorities, negotiations with the culprit fell apart, and they were confronted by the armed man outside of his home.
The man was shot during the confrontation and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither of the hostages were harmed during the incident.
