10 Become U.S. Citizens At Florida's State Capitol Fourth Celebration

A total of ten people are now U.S. citizens after being sworn in during Fourth of July festivities in Florida's state capital.

Thousands turned out for Tallahassee's annual Independence Day picnic and fireworks display at Tom Brown Park.

There was also a unique celebration in Eastpoint where hundreds dined at a free barbecue.

The festivities were organized by Florida State University chef Jared Schiess. Schiess says he wanted to do something special for the Panhandle town where three dozen homes were recently destroyed by a wildfire.
