According to a new survey, 25 percent of Americans say they've failed a diet because their partner has tempted them. 

A poll of 2,000 U.S. adults reveals the other top reasons people fail diets include: 

  • Not having enough time to meal prep
  • Having treats around the holidays
  • Unhealthy choices at social gatherings
  • Treating themselves
  • Stress related to work

The top foods people indulge in to ruin their diets are: 

  • Pizza
  • Ice cream
  • Chips
  • Chocolate
