A stretch of the Rickenbacker Causeway, a major roadway connecting Miami and Key Biscayne, has been closed down Friday morning due to police activity.
The eastbound lanes of the causeway remain closed between I-95 and Virginia Beach Drive.
Miami Police say they received a call from a man underneath the bridge just before 4 a.m. and responded.
Officers and SWAT team members remain on the scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area at this time.
