The National Hurricane Center continues to keep an eye on a disturbance located over the Yucatan Peninsula. Forecasters say it's producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The system is expected to move west-northwestward across the peninsula and over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico Thursday through Saturday. Any development of the system should be slow to occur because of strong upper-level winds.
