Florida's Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will start this Friday June 1st and runs until June 7th.
The state gives residents and business owners a tax break on select items at participating stores to help prepare for the upcoming hurricane season. Items on the list include batteries, candles, radios and generators.
