A man was trapped inside of his car for several hours Friday morning after a wrong-way crash in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to numerous reports.
Reports say the man's black vehicle could be seen crashed in the northbound express lanes of the Palmetto Expressway, just after NW 58th Street. Those express lanes are not even open yet.
Rescue crews were able to get the man out through the back passenger side window after it was broken by a first responder.
Reports suggest the man was traveling the wrong way when he crashed, but that has not been confirmed by officials.
