A student at one Miami-Dade high school was taken into custody on Friday after reportedly bringing a knife onto campus.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools officials said the Miami Edison High School student brought the knife the campus off of NW 61st Street and 5th Court. A witness reported the knife to administrators, who took it from the student.
Authorities said the student will be arrested, but did not release any information on what charges that person will face.
