That Awkward Moment When You Try To Make A Cool Vid But Get Stuck On A Roof

Authorities say a 21-year-old attempting to make a "new hip video" got stuck on the roof of a retirement community building in Deerfield Beach.

The man told firefighters with the Broward County Sheriff's Officer that he was trying to "make a crazy new video" with a GoPro camera by tossing it into the air.

The camera allegedly landed on the second-floor roof of a building at the Century Village retirement complex. The man scaled the exterior of the building's elevator shaft to retrieve the camera. However, just like the camera, he became stuck.

It required four firefighters and about 10 minutes to rescue the man with the use of an elevated platform.

"While the man's rescue was worthy of recognition, his video won’t be nominated for an Emmy Award anytime soon," officers wrote in a report.
