Pilot Kisses Ground After Emergency Plane Landing In Pembroke Pines

A pilot and his passenger are safe after their small plane was forced to make an emergency landing at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines on Thursday morning.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says the single-engine aircraft's front landing gear had malfunctioned.

The plane circled the airport for 45 minutes before landing and sliding on its nose to a stop.

The two people on board walked away, but not before the pilot was seen kissing the ground!
