Cosby Lawyers Want To Dismiss Call Between Molestation Accuser And Mother

Lawyers for Bill Cosby don't want jurors in his trial to hear about a phone call between the comedian's accuser and her mother.

Cosby's legal team argued in court papers on Tuesday that what was said between accuser Andrea Constand and her mother is hearsay and shouldn't be mentioned at his retrial.

Constand says she first told her mom that Cosby had drugged and molested her during the January 2005 call.

Constand and her mother testified about the call during Cosby's first trial.

Cosby's first trial ended in a hung jury.

He has pleaded not guilty.
