A deadly, single-vehicle crash closed down the intersection of NE 125th Street and 1st Court in North Miami just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
At the scene, a white SUV could be seen heavily damaged near a tree.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Lt. Felipe Lay, A total of five people were in the car. One person died at the scene and two others were transported to an area hospital as trauma alerts.
Two additional passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The intersection remains closed as officials continue their investigation.
