With 100% of precincts reporting, Mayor-Elect Dean Trantalis has won over Bruce Roberts by just over 5,600 votes.
Trantalis has been serving as city commissioner since 2009 and when certified, will be the first openly gay Mayor in Fort Lauderdale.
Additionally, Steve Glassman was un-officially elected as Commissioner in District 2 by 1,271 votes while Benjamin Sorensen was un-officially elected Commissioner in District 3 buy only 60 votes.
