Airport officials in Charlotte County are announcing new service from Punta Gorda Airport and Nashville International Airport in Tennessee.
Beginning in June, Allegiant Air will fly to and from Nashville from Punta Gorda on Thursdays and Sundays.
The new flights are expected to bring an extra 20,000 visitors to Southwest Florida each year.
