Gov. Scott To Meet With MSDHS Families To Discuss FL Gun Bill

Florida Governor Rick Scott will be meeting with the families of students killed in last month's massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

The meeting comes after state lawmakers passed a bill raising the age for buying guns to 21.

The bill also includes a three-day waiting period for any gun purchases, and allows specially-trained teachers and school staff to be armed.

Scott told reporters earlier this week the parents' opinions are among the most important things he'll consider as he decides whether to sign the bill.
