Stoneman Douglas Student Chooses College Due To Bond Former Dring Shooting

A quarterback from the Parkland, Florida, high school where a gunman killed 17 people will play football for a college in the state of Massachusetts thanks to the bond he formed with two recruiters during the shooting.

Tyler Goodman, a quarterback at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, has committed to Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.

Goodman admits that the NCAA Division III school wasn't one of his top choices, but during the shooting he hid in a room with a coach and an administrator who protected him.
