Florida One Step Closer To Making Daylight Savings Time Year-Round In FL

Florida will "spring forward" this Sunday for Daylight Saving Time, but it might not "fall back" in return in November.

Lawmakers in Tallahassee are on the verge of approving Senator Greg Steube's proposed Sunshine Protection Act.

The Sarasota Republican says his bill would make Daylight Saving Time year-round in Florida, but only if Congress allows it.

The Sunshine Protection Act has already been approved by the state House and is ready for final passage in the Senate this Tuesday.
