Police are on the hunt for four men who were caught on camera Thursday assaulting and robbing a boy outside of his home in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Twelve-year-old Danny Machado just got home from school around 3 p.m. when he was assaulted in front of his home on Northwest 109th Street.
Surveillance video shows Machado checking the mailbox before a silver SUV pulled up in front of the home. A man wearing a ski mask got out of the car, punched Machado multiple times and then took off with his iPhone 8. Machado can be seen running after the SUV as it speeds off towards Northwest Fifth Avenue.
Miami-Dade Police say there were four men inside the SUV.
Machado was left with scratches and bruises, and his family now fears for their safety.
The four subjects remain at large.
