Good news... your Florida Power & Light bill is actually going down.
Starting March 1st, FPL is removing the Hurricane Matthew restoration surcharge.
That means a typical 1,000 kilowatt residential customer will save about $3.35 per month.
Earlier this year, the utility giant announced, thanks to federal tax savings, it would not need to bump up rates to cover Hurricane Irma's restoration effort.
