Muslim Community Group To Hold Prayer Service For Shooting Victims

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA (AMC), the nation's largest Muslim organization (located right in Parkland), will hold a prayer vigil for Wednesday's shooting victims on Friday. 

“These are hurtful and painful tragedies,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Vice President of AMC, accoding to a press release. “We urge leadership to take action to prevent these senseless acts of violence and we pray for the mourning families.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community prays for the speedy recovery of the injured and offers our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. 

Two of the local chapter's mosque's members attend the high school, according to the release. The two students have been reported safe.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Miami chapter will hold a prayer service at its mosque on Friday. All are welcome.

The vigil will take place starting at 1:15 p.m. at the Baitul Naseer Mosque located on 208 NW 7th Court in Hallandale Beach.
