A 12-year-old Plantation Key student is facing aggravated battery charges after being accused of pushing a school counselor into a wall.
Investigators say the child, who had previously been removed from class due to bad behavior, took an employee's phone and threatened to hit people with it.
While trying to escape from the building and officials, he shoved the counselor so hard her head dented the wall.
The juvenile was taken to jail and his father called.
The child's identity has not been released. No other information was immediately available.
