Students at a Miami-Dade high school are under extra security this Friday, after police say they received a threat regarding the school the day before.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools confirmed that a threat was received regarding a potential incident at Miami Killian Senior High School. Parents were notified about the incident.
MDCPS officials say they deemed the threat not credible, but are continuing their investigation and added extra officers to the school as a precaution.
