A Hallandale Beach man is behind bars after police say they found child pornography pictures on his work-issued computer.
Authorities raided the home of 53-year-old Andrew Michael Allen on Wednesday afternoon. They then arrested the man on child pornography charges.
During the raid, police say they found files containing dozens of images of what appeared to be very young children on his laptop. Officials said the children, some as young as 8 years old, were seen engaged in sexual activities.
According to an arrest report, “One photo showed a female approximately 8-10 years old who was only as tall as the waistline of the adult male depicted in the photo.”
Investigators also found travel documents at Allen’s condo that concerned them. They fear local victims may be involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
