Coast Guard crews in South Florida are already having a busy start to the New Year.
On Monday morning, the U.S. Coast Guard rescued a man who fell off his boat and was treading water off the Dinner Key Marina.
Officials say the man had fallen off of his vessel and was unable to get back on board.
On Sunday evening, they plucked two people and two dogs from their boat which was taking on water off Cudjoe Key.
No one was hurt in either incident.
