A 7-year-old girl who was bitten on the face by a dog Tuesday afternoon in southwest Miami-Dade is now home.
The victim was transported to Nicklaus Children's Hospital following the Tuesday incident.
Family members say the bite was an accident. The girl had been playing ball with the family dog who is not known to be aggressive.
The dog has been taken to another family member's home while the girl recovers.
