Police say it looks like a horse and a cow were stolen near their owner's home in southwest Miami-Dade.
The animals were believed to have been stolen from the property in the 12300 block of Southwest 47th Street sometime after Hurricane Irma.
Miami-Dade police said the 12-year-old, sand-colored quarter horse named Cash is worth $29,000/
Matilde the 3-year-old Black is worth $1,000.
The owner of the livestock said his animals were being kept at a property around the corner from his home.
He said the fences were weakened by Hurricane Irma and a lot of his animals got loose.
He said he eventually got all of his animals back, except both Matilde and Cash, who authorities believe were stolen.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Detective R. Hernandez at 305-252-8311 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
