Firefighters at three Broward fire stations woke up to several vandalized cars Monday morning:
- Ft. Lauderdale Fire Rescue station 3
- Ft. Lauderdale Fire Rescue station 47
- Broward Sheriff’s Office fire station 32 were all vandalized
In all three cases, the vandals broke into and smashed the windows of more than one dozen cars parked in the employee parking lots.
Surveillance cameras and fences did not deter the vandals from smashing into the cars.
At station 47, the vandals jumped the fence between 2 and 5 a.m. Sunday. All eight vehicles parked at the station were targeted and had broken windows.
Ft. Lauderdale Police say they are dusting for fingerprints and are reviewing surveillance video.
Anyone with information on these crimes are urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
