Health officials are warning those still with Thanksgiving leftovers to throw them in the garbage can.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said leftovers that have been kept past Monday need to be thrown away.
Nov. 29 had been recognized as “National Throw Out Your Leftovers Day,” but health experts previously pushed that deadline back to Nov. 27. Essentially, we're now three days past that deadline.
For future reference, the CDC added that leftovers can be safely be stored in the fridge for three or four days.
