Police Search For Three Suspects Involved In Miami Beach Armed Robbery

Miami Beach Police are asking for help in identifying three suspects in an armed robbery early Tuesday morning.  

Police responded to the scene outside of 1903 Collins Avenue on Tuesday around 1:40 a.m.

According to a report, 24-year-old Janalyn Martin told police she was walking down the sidewalk when a man approached her. The suspect then allegedly pulled out a handgun and hit her in the back of the head numerous times, yelling "give me your s--t."

The suspect fled with the Martin's purse, the report says. Martin told police that her pursed contained a loaded revolver and a cellphone. 

Martin told authorities say saw the suspect get into a silver SUV as a passenger before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-feet-2-inches, weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants and a brown t-shirt.

In total, police say they are looking for three persons of interest involved with this crime. All three, including the suspect described above, are described as being black males.
