Gas prices in Florida are leveling off after spiking an average of 13 cents in three days last week.
AAA says some of the highest weekly increases occurred in Tampa, up 25 cents; in Orlando, up 20 cents; and in Punta Gorda, up 19 cents.
The usual autumn price drop was interrupted by rising oil prices.
The most expensive gas in Florida is in West Palm Beach, where it averages $2.64 a gallon. The least expensive place to fill up at the pump is in Pensacola, averaging $2.46.
