The Miami-Dade Schools Police Department says nearly a dozen students have been impacted by sexually explicit photos that were passed around a high school.
Authorities are now investigating the situation at North Miami Beach Senior High School.
Images showing two people having sexual intercourse were allegedly passed around by students on the popular mobile-based app Snapchat,
An unidentified father told Local 10 News that the Snapchat user is claiming the woman in the images is his daughter. "Her name had been involved on a Snapchat deal showing pornographic pictures and videos of different school students," he said.
"It's important to bring the (people responsible) for exposing this and ruining so many people's lives, making them accountable for their actions and prosecute them so other people, other kids, learn that this is not correct," the father said.
