A drive-by shooting Monday morning in a Little Havana neighborhood sent a teenager to the hospital.
A 13-year-old boy shot twice -- once in the foot and once in the shoulder -- while sleeping in his home near NW 12th Avenue and 4th Street. Police responded to the scene after reports of shots fired around 2 a.m.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and expected to be OK.
Officials continue their search for the suspect while not confirming if the house was the intended target or if it was struck by stray bullets from a possible drive-by shooting.
