Fallen golf great Tiger Woods entered a plea deal Friday in his DUI case in Florida court
Woods accepted a guilty charge to reckless-driving, and will be entering a pre-trial diversion program.
Near his home in Jupiter on May 29, he was found asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz. According to arrest reports, Woods was taken into custody only after failing multiple sobriety tests.
Tests showed he had no alcohol in his system, but he told cops he was taking Vicodin and Xanax following back surgery in April.
A toxicology report found Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanex, Ambien and THC in his system.
As part of a deal with prosecutors, Woods’ DUI charge will be dropped upon successful completion of the diversion program.
He’ll be on probation for one year and required to pay a $250 fine and perform 50 hours of community service.
The plea conference was held at the North County Government Center in Palm Beach County Court.
