A Florida construction crew discovered a big problem when they were working on a clogged pipe along a Martin County highway Monday.
It's already tough to unclog an underground pipe... but even more so when the obstruction is a muddy, 5-foot gator.
The gator tried to elude workers by running into a pipe on the site.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was notified.
A local trapper successfully removed the reptile.
No one was injured, and the interruption was minimal.
