A man is dead after being punched in the face during an argument over beer at a Florida fast food restaurant, according to police.
According to police, 34-year-old James Allen punched 55-year-old John Roughton in the face on October 20, causing him to fall flat on his back.
Roughton's head allegedly bounced off the pavement and he was knocked unconscious.
Roughton underwent surgery, but police say his family had him taken off life support and that he died Tuesday.
Both men's addresses were listed as a nearby homeless assistance center.
Allen now faces a second-degree murder charge. He remains in jail.
