A large sinkhole swallowed part of a road in Ocala and forced the evacuation of a nearby home Tuesday.
The hole opened near the intersection of Rolling Greens Drive and Peebles Beach Road, Marion County Emergency Management officials said.
It started in a family's yard, and has extended into a street that is now blocked off.
Meanwhile, across town, repairs had just begun on another sinkhole that opened up outside a restaurant in June and almost swallowed a car coming out of the drive-thru.
That hole, about 25 feet wide and 25 feet deep, is being filled with concrete and cement.
