A two year old drowns in her family's pool. Miami Gardens Police say the pool did not have a security fence around it. The little girl's mother went out to run an errand. Investigators say she left the child in the care of a grandmother and an adult brother. She came home to find the child. She was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late. The State Health Department says drowning is a leading cause of death to children aged 1-4.They recommend a fence around the pool that's at least 48 inches high, and go completely around the pool. And keep the fence clear of toys or furniture. A child can easily climb over that. For more, click here.
