Murder-For-Hire Convict, Dalia Dippolito, Finds New Home In FL State Prison

A Florida woman convicted of hiring who she thought was a hit man, actually an undercover cop, to kill her husband will soon have a new permanent home at a state prison.

Thirty-four-year-old Dalia Dippolito, of Boynton Beach, is currently being held at the Florida Women's Reception Center in Ocala.

She was convicted in June of solicitation to commit first-degree murder and later sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The facility is a temporary location for Dippolito until she is processed by the Florida Department of Corrections.

Dippolito was seen on undercover surveillance video telling the undercover police detective that she was "5,000 percent sure" she wanted her then-husband dead in 2009.

The Boynton Beach Police Department staged a phony crime scene on the day that Dippolito's husband was supposed to be killed and recorded her reaction.
