Officers in Pembroke Pines are searching for a suspect who allegedly fired shots into the walls and ceiling of an apartment Sunday night.
Deputies were called to the Bayberry apartment complex in the 1900 block of Northwest 96th Terrace just before 11:30 p.m. People had heard shots fired in the area.
Officers spotted an apartment unit with apparent damage from gunshots. They then allegedly went into the home and found multiple bullet holes in the walls and ceiling of several rooms.
Police said two victims told officers that a young man had pointed a gun at them and said, "Get out of my way," as he walked to a waiting vehicle.
Authorities said he is believed to be driving a black, newer-model Hyundai Sonata.
Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call Pembroke Pines police at 954-431-2200 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS
