Trump Addresses Vegas Shooting -- Announces Wednesday Visit

In a statement delivered Monday morning, President Trump said we are joined today in "shock and grief" after the mass shooting Sunday night in Las Vegas.

Trump spoke from the White House this morning.

He said he'd be visiting Las Vegas on Wednesday. He also announced that flags will be flown at half-staff “in memory of the fallen.”

Suspected gunman Stephen Paddock fired at concert-goers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino while country singer Jason Aldean performed last night.

So far, there's no confirmation on what the motive of the shooting was.

Trump praised the quick actions of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for taking care of the situation quickly.
