Florida Lawmakers Continue Push For Keys' Irma Recovery

Lawmakers across the state are promising not to forget the people of the Keys, as they make adjustments and attempt to resettle following Hurricane Irma.

Both Senator Bill Nelson and Governor Rick Scott will be back in Marathon Wednesday morning.

Nelson is flying in with the Coast Guard to meet with local officials at the Emergency Operations Center.

The Governor is set to be there a short time later to discuss recovery efforts with the Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Senator Marco Rubio's staff will be stationed at City Hall from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. to help resident sign up for FEMA assistance.

Rubio will be joined by House Speaker Paul Ryan.
