Riddick allegedly shot and killed 35-year-old Derrick Barber on Labor Day outside a convenience store at 119 NE 10th Ave.

Authorities said Riddick's twin brother, Kunta Kinte Riddick, and Barber had allegedly been fighting over Barber's child's mother, Latavia Edwards, in the parking lot when Kelcey Riddick shot him.

When detectives interviewed 26-year-old Edwards, the woman said she had been "talking" with Kunta Kinte Riddick, but she got back with Barber about a week ago.

Surveillance video from the store showed Kelcey Riddick pull the trigger. Detectives said they were able to differentiate Kelcey from his brother because of a full sleeve of tattoos on his arm.

Kelcey Riddick is now facing a charge of first-degree murder.

Kunta Kinte Riddick was arrested Sept. 10 on multiple drug charges.
