The IRS Expands Tax Relief To Florida Victims Of Hurricane Irma

The Internal Revenue Service is expanding tax relief to victims of Hurricane Irma in Florida. 

The IRS has postponed various tax filing and payment deadlines that started on September 4th.  

Affected individuals and businesses now have until January 31st of next year to file returns and pay any taxes that were originally due during this period.  

The expanded relief applies to any area designated by FEMA as qualifying for either individual assistance or public assistance in Florida.
