Read This Before Burning Irma's 'Leftovers'

Trying to remove your debris from Hurricane Irma?

Make sure you check with your municipality before attempting to do so.

The Florida Forest Service has issued a reminder to residents that burning your debris inside the Everglades District is prohibited.

The Forest Service has given Monore, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county officials the permission to burn the vegetation that has been removed, but only if it's collected the proper way.

If you're unsure how your area removes the debris, contact your city hall or county sanitation services.
