Hallelujah!
After five full days without power, I was blessed with the gift of A/C and a hot shower Friday.
And while I was complaining about being at the longer end of the power outage curve, it's unfortunate to think there are still people in the dark -- seven days and counting (who really must be hot, tired and frustrated at this point).
Here are the latest numbers of South Floridians based on the percentages who have power post-Irma as of 5 a.m. Monday:
- Martin County: 99 percent
- Palm Beach County (FPL): 99 percent
- Lake Worth Utilities: 100 percent
- Broward: 98 percent
- Miami-Dade: 95 percent
- Collier: 71 percent
Now that only FPL outages remain in SFL, this map will tell you exactly where we stand with existing outages:

FPL says: "We have the largest restoration workforce in our history, more than 24,000 employees and contractors, working to restore service after Irma.
"Every hour of every day, more and more customers are getting their lights back on. We are committed to doing everything we can to help get your lives back to normal."
