To get people back into the groove following Irma, the City of North Miami Beach will host a free post-storm concert Friday night to celebrate hispanic heritage and life returning to normal after the storm.
The concert will feature Tito Puente, Jr. -- son of mambo musician Tito Puente, South Florida resident and Latin / Jazz artist.
The festivities begins at 8 p.m. at the Litman Performing Arts Center located next to City Hall on NE 19 Ave and 171 Street.
For those still without power, cell phone charging stations will be set and free for residents to power up their phones with.
The city of North Miami Beach will also have a donation drop off area for anyone who wants to bring supplies or items to donate to residents still impacted by the storm.
