A woman who went missing in December 2016 was found after officials in Boca Raton lowered canal water levels in preparation for Hurricane Irma.
Loraine Feliciano-Pino, age 47, was last seen in her gray 2011 Toyota Rav 4 leaving her home on Decemeber 19th, 2016.
Her vehicle, along with Feliciano-Pino's body and a few more vehicles, were all found at the Boca Rio Canal system.
The vehicles became uncovered as a result of the county lowering the water levels in preparation for Hurricane Irma's landfall, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
Officers saying that they do no suspect any suspicious activity at this time.
