Miami Water Park Offering Free Admission To Cool Residents Post-Irma

Grapeland Water Park wants to help Miami residents cool down during post-Irma heat.

The park is waiving admission fees for all City of Miami residents and employees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this week, according to a news release.

Residents must bring proof of residency or employee ID.

This comes at a time where thousands continue to be without power due to Hurricane Irma, which has caused intense heat in homes without air conditioning.

The water park, located at 1550 NW 37 Ave, added that they will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m
